From memory

Image
Masters said, if you are an artist, you should keep a pencil and a drawing pad with you all time. I cannot do that always, because of my laziness. It will be crazy when you don’t have any tool to draw and the subjects are raining in front of you. Here are something which made me MAD!

DOUBTSOURCING!

In Badmash, we had worked on an animated sitcom named 'Doubt sourcing'.It’s  about global collaboration, or the lack thereof, centered on a dysfunctional IT company in Bangalore, India. Even though most of the characters are Indian, the show is written for Americans. CLICK HERE to watch other episodes.

Light Study!

Image
I don’t know why, suddenly I felt my fingers are itching for some light study. And here is the result. I know you all are aware of the process very well. First of all I made a drawing or borders to fill the mass for lighting. Then I gave the values and checked thoroughly that without the colour everything is readable. Then I pour colour on it. Ok now the SHOW TIME. I played with the bright colour (almost white) and the dark colour (almost black) with opacity jitter brush. Believe me guys, it was really Fun!

Head study

Image
Here is a quick render of head study. I was watching Bobby Chiu's free demonstration on YouTube and got inspired. Man, he is Awesome! Guys, I will advice to join Schoolism or Imaginism if you can or at least watch his free videos. I am really happy to know about his Arrow technique for drawing human side head and duplicate window technique for digital painting. Don’t you know what are they..!! Go and search for it in YouTube =)  ( Sorry guys, I am too lazy to write all that stuffs here)

'We connect you'

Image
Hey guys, I am presently working with Playdom - an online gaming company. I have been asked to make something to print on Shirts for us. I picked the slogan ' We connect you, no matter where you are'. then I had to take something to represent the seven continents. So I made these seven cute characters. I hope you can easily recognize each of their regions by its design. If you didn’t (I pray you can) here I am giving the details. From the top clockwise- Asian girl (I am a proud Indian so I pick an Indian =D) European kid Kid from Antarctica African girl North American kid South American kid and Australian kid Let see how it looks =) __________________________ These are created for the same logo but rejected because the are not fit with the theme and space.
