Wow, I thing I am addicted to sculpting now. I feel all artist should try sculpting with any medium, it will give you a very strong understanding on volume. Here is one my new character. I did this and the below one in a straight ahead method, no models, no references! I just needed to dig in to the software and find out what skills are in me. I need to learn how to apply colour in Sculptris tho. For now I tried Photoshop painting. Thanks to My friend Naveen for the rendering help =)  

Sorry for being lazy blogger. Actually I am busy with my job and giving maximum time for it. And in my job itself I am getting enough chance to design but unfortunately I can't post it here. But I will think about posting some rejected pice. I don't know when I got bitten by sculpting bug, I guess one of my friend is behind of it. He gave me a link of a free software called Sculptris which is a byproduct of Z brush. Its a cool tool for a normal sculptor. This tool has been developed by a single guy who is a part of Z brush now. Z brush did a good job but that guy lost his chance to be a tough competitor of the sculpt software monster. Any how I realized that I am not patient enough for sculpting. Here is one of my ( probably second ) try on Sculptris.

Which is the best time to doodle out a strange stuff? If you are in a class / session / meeting / seminar / phone call which makes you bored, there is no other best time to take your pen and make your hands free on a paper. You wont have any control on your hands because your half mind will be attending (or pretending ) the class or what ever. Somany times I experienced cool results. Here is one of my meeting doodle which I drew behind my note pad. And here is the final result!
